Our mission at Pura Yoga & Meditation Center is to help the St Louis community benefit from the many teachings and benefits of meditation and yoga regardless of experience. We offer a safe and welcoming environment for students, with a strong focus on the teacher-student relationship.

Yoga and Meditation classes help you step away from your busy life and take time to quiet your mind, reconnect with your breath, and take time to focus on yourself. Learning these practices have helped people manage stress, improve strength and flexibility, increase mood and general happiness and enjoy life more. There are many different styles of yoga and meditation, so we recommend that you click on the class titles and teacher names on the SCHEDULE page to ensure that you find the class that is appropriate for you. ​
Yoga is not a competition of flexibility or strength - come as you are, honor the limitations of your physical body, and be sure to wear comfortable clothing. Meditation is not for monks living in far off lands, it is a tool that can help YOU better understand your reactions to daily triggers of stress, while potentially reducing the harmful physical affects of chronic long-term stress.
